Teachers work diligently throughout the school year to educate Californian children. Many manage to find ways to sneak in the time to teach the students about nutrition. They understand the importance of eating smart to be smart.

…then this contest is for you!

We are giving not one...

but TWO OUTSTANDING NUTRITION EDUCATORS $500 each 

- one at the elementary level and one at the secondary level -

for their creative and passionate implementation of a

Nutrition Education Lesson!

Describe and write in why he/she are your nominee. Submit pictures or a short video (1-3 minutes) of your nominee and/or their students either engaged in the lesson, explaining the lesson, or simply showing us how their passion about nutrition has inspired you. Be your usual creative selves and tug at our heart strings!!! 

 

Teachers, Administrators and Directors…. do you know of an outstanding nutrition teacher who may be too shy to enter? Simply nominate them!

 

The "Oustanding Nutrition Educator Award" is sponsored by the Southern California School Nutrition Association, the Dairy Council of California, and Buena Vista Foods.  It is open for all California School Districts.
